To support staff in providing coordinated meaningful learning experiences for all students.
To support academic challenge and support for all students.
To foster a school climate in which student needs for health, safety, connection, and recognition are met.
To foster ongoing communication between school and home.

To provide academic interventions and support in reading, writing, mathematics and study skills for students so they meet the district literacy goal and district promotion standards.

To promote school-wide emphasis on the qualities of effective instruction.
To support teachers in using high quality assessment to improve student work and to improve instruction.
To support teachers in differentiating curriculum and instruction to better meet the needs of all students.
To provide release time for teachers to attend conferences, create curriculum, and work together to improve curriculum and instruction.
To help new teachers to meet the PAUSD teaching standards.

To actively develop a JLS, El Carmelo, Fairmeadow and Palo Verde community while including Barron Park, Juana Briones, and Nixon communities through the transition period.
