I hope the fourth week of school is going smoothly, and despite the eerie weather and light outside, you and your family are enjoying the day.
This message is short and sweet. We only have a few reminders and updates to share:
I hope you are enjoying the holiday weekend! I wanted to give you some information about some important upcoming events:
JLS PTA Association Meeting, Tuesday, Sept. 8 from 8:30-9:30am
Coffee with the Principal, Wednesday, Sept 9 from 8:30-9:20am
We hope this third week of school finds you and your family doing well and in a routine. Thank you for your flexibility and support as our students increase familiarity with the weekly schedule and become more comfortable in navigating online learning. This week’s communication includes some helpful reminders as well as some exciting news about things to come.
You may have already noticed that Friday, September 4 is a Minimum Day. JLS students and teachers will be following this schedule and will be dismissed at 1:20 PM.
There is no school on Monday, September 7 in honor of the Labor Day Holiday. To see more JLS events, please check out the Calendar page on the JLS Website.
Happy Friday! Congratulations on making it through the second week of school.
THANK YOU for participating in our Virtual Back To School Night this week! Our materials will be available for parents to view on Schoology through Sunday, August 30, so please be sure to view each of your student’s classes to “meet” our teachers and learn about the year ahead. (Students were given these directions to help you!) Please contact any JLS staff member with any questions you may have after learning about your student’s classes.
