Upcoming Changes to COVID Testing Provider

Hello JLS Families,

You may have already seen the Superintendent's Update from Friday, but starting this week, the Palo Alto Unified School District is changing COVID-19 testing providers to a company named Covid Clinic.  Please note, JLS will still have Predicine on campus this Thursday, November 4, but this will be our last day of testing with Predicine.   We are transitioning to Covid Clinic starting Thursday, November 4, and plan to have Covid Clinic on campus every Thursday from this week on.

If you wish to participate in future testing with Covid Clinic, you must register with Covid Clinic.  PAUSD's new testing provider requires a new first-time registration process, as registration information is not transferred between providers. We are confident that this partnership will provide the resources our district needs to keep students learning in person in a safe and healthy environment.

Students and Staff registered to participate in the Covid Clinic Testing Program will continue to have the opportunity to be tested every week on campus in Conference Room A.

Covid Clinic will also be setting up a community site at Cubberley that will be open to students, staff, families, and the community. For your convenience, the testing schedule and instructions for participating in the PAUSD Covid Testing Program can be found on the district website.

If you have questions, please feel free to contact PAUSD Health Services Department via email at, or you can call (650) 833-4240.

Carol Cannon, JLS Health Technician, has attached a helpful document of our testing schedule and resources.

Thank you for doing your part in keeping our community healthy and safe!
