Honoring 2024 Lunar New Year
Dear PAUSD Middle School Families,
Lunar New Year, also known as the Spring Festival, is a significant cultural observance for many of our students and families. It marks the beginning of the lunar calendar and is celebrated with various traditions, customs, and festivities. This year, Lunar New Year occurs tomorrow, Saturday, February 10, 2024, welcoming the year of the dragon.
We believe that recognizing and celebrating cultural diversity is an essential part of our school’s values. We understand the importance of family and community during this time, and we want our school to be a place where these traditions are respected and celebrated.
As we approach Lunar New Year, we invite our students to share their traditions, stories, and experiences related to this special occasion. This celebration not only promotes cultural understanding but also fosters a sense of community within our schools.
Thank you for your continued support in creating an inclusive and enriching environment for all our students.
Wishing you and your family a joyous and prosperous Lunar New Year!
With warmest regards,
