Late Start Mondays - Mark Your Calendars!

This is a reminder that we have a Late Start Monday coming up Monday, September 18.
Please mark your calendars, and prepare your student to be at JLS and ready to start their First Period Class at 10:00 AM on Monday, September 18.

Important information regarding Late Start Mondays
The purpose of incorporating modified schedules is to allocate valuable time for staff development, training, planning, and collaboration. By doing so, we aim to enhance the overall learning experience for our students and ensure that they receive the best education possible.
During the 2023-24 school year there will be a total of six (6) Late Start Mondays, listed below. On Late Start Mondays, school will begin at 10:00 AM. JLS will continue to provide locations on campus (such as the library) where students may quietly study should they arrive earlier or at the usual start time.
Classes at JLS will begin at 10:00 AM and end at 2:30 PM on these days:
- Monday, September 18, 2023
- Monday, October 16, 2023
- Monday, November 13, 2023
- Monday, January 22, 2024
- Monday, February 26, 2024
- Monday, March 18, 2024
PAUSD Transportation will follow this Late Start Monday bus schedule for the following dates: 9/18/2023, 10/16/2023, 11/13/2023, 1/22/2024, 2/26/2024, 3/18/2024
JLS Middle School will start at 10:00 AM:
- JLS (Route B)
- 9:05- Euclid @ O’Connor
- 9:17- Almanor @ Newbridge
- 9:23- Oakwood @ Bay
- 9:27- Clarke @ Runnymede
- 9:30- Clarke @ Tinsley
- 9:50- Arrive at J.L Stanford Middle School
